When it comes to reducing the toxins you’re exposed to in cosmetics and skin care products, you need to be aware of what you’re putting on your body.

Changing the way we take care of our bodies starts with awareness. In the U.S., the FDA does not regulate the cosmetics or the nutrition industry. They eliminate less than 15 ingredients. Europe bans about 1600. They’re leading the way with this, but it’s important to know what we put on our bodies. It can be hard to decipher sometimes.

Besides cosmetics, we use so many body products, hair products and lotions on ourselves, and on our kids. A lifetime of exposure to these things could be really toxic and we don’t even know it.
