Parents and scientists are very interested these days in learning more about the causes of autism. In a new study, researchers found that small babies have a higher risk.
Signs of possible autism in a baby or young child include:
- Not making eye contact
- Preferring to be alone
- Trouble interacting with other people
- Emotional outbursts
- And trouble speaking.
