Breast Milk Does a Baby Good
How does breast milk give babies a healthy boost? Scientists may have found another clue. Experts have noticed that kids who are breastfed seem to have better brain development. But they’re not sure why. The connection could be related to the types of moms who choose to breastfeed, or the contact that moms and babies have during breastfeeding. In addition, having higher levels of certain omega-3 fatty acids in the breast milk was linked to better mental development.
