At the Pinky Swear theatre company in D.C., strong women characters are portrayed through funny, dark and entertaining productions. They hire women artists and technician whenever possible.
They produce plays they’re passionate about, are entertaining, and have strong character roles for women other than “somebody’s girlfriend, somebody’s wife.”
